
Jasmine Byrd was born in Birmingham Al. She started dancing for a small company in Helena. Through out middle and high school she studied, performed, and choreographed at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. She has performed leading roles from Don Quixote, La Baydere, Sleeping Beauty, and Sweet Tea. At the University of Alabama she has performed with Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre, Dance Alabama, and The Emerging Choreographers Showcase. Other dance training include Peridance in New York, Alabama Ballet summer intensive, and the Alabama Dance Festival.
